The Zine is designed and printed in the USA. It is A4 (8.268 x 11.693 inches) horizontal format, which I chose so that it must be stored visibly on a table top instead of hidden in a bookshelf. The Zine numbers 68 pages, is litho printed, contains 18 essays, it has weight and feels nice in the hand. I appreciate digital art for convenience and immediacy but I prefer physical art for duration and that it affects all of the senses.
Shipping within the United States is included in the cover price. Shipping to any international destination is very expensive and even with a value of only $9.00 assigned I expect Customs/ Duty fee at the destination will be high as well. Perhaps a tariff will be applied. Who knows? Also, both the EU and the UK have invited me to become a tax collector and to forward all taxes collected to the revenue agencies responsible for those territories. I refuse to do this. For these reasons, if you live outside of the US the web store will not accept your order. If you wish to insist then send me an email and we will discuss possible solution and cost.
This patch is only available as an add-on to a different purchase, in this case, the Zine. This is a Velcro-backed, two-inch diameter, PVC patch. Slap it on a bag or pack, or wear it on your shoulder. The flaming ice tool has been my personal logo since 1986. It has been drawn and redesigned several times, and while I prefer the splendid aggression and detail of Randy Rackliff’s version, for a printable patch or t-shirt and branding this new style rocks.
