July 1990: Time-lapse of my headlamp approaching the north wall of Peak Communism. I was tricked onto the face by what appeared to be one of the most incredible lines of ice I had ever seen. After climbing about 1000 feet the feature revealed itself to be powder snow and unclimbable so I had to bail.
