April 1994: Scott Backes watching the sun come over the horizon after climbing through the night during the first ascent of "Deprivation" on the north buttress of Mount Hunter. We stopped for a couple of hours, ate the dinner from the night before, drank and filled our bottles, then continued finally returning to base camp after 43 hours on the go.
