April 1989: Andy Parkin on the back side of the Aiguilles. We went to try a new route right of "Nouvel Horizon." The existing line was first climbed by Vertical Magazine founders Bruno Cormier and Dominique Radigue. The line wasn't there for us but Andy climbed it later that year with Christophe Beaudoin.
