I can’t remember having so many days of good weather in a row on any Alaska trip. In fact, I recall quite a lot more bad days than good ones but it may be a temperament issue. This day we sped down to a cache left at 10,000’ and ferried the loads back to 11,000’. The descent was brilliant but sadly lasted less than the duration of a single song (“Balls to the Wall” by Accept, which when played loud enough can overwrite any ideas of safety and respect for the speed limit).
